David Sligar is a policy analyst, researcher and consultant. He specialises in welfare systems and public finance, with a focus on poverty and inequality.
David has a background as a social and economic adviser for central agencies and senior politicians.
He has worked in social, budget and revenue policy branches of Commonwealth Treasury and Finance Departments, in roles spanning fiscal policy, budget strategy, retirement income, income support, health and disability, and education policy.
